Brief

Twinpalms is a long-established luxury resort in Phuket, Thailand. They challenged us to communicate their brand experience on social media through a paid advertising campaign.

The campaign also tied in with the launch of their new hotel, Twinpalms Montazure, which too can be found in Phuket. They wanted to use stunning video and photography to share their experiences online, and to prepare a website that rolled out the brand’s new visuals and positioning: “affordable luxury for timeless travellers”.

They wanted to engage their past guests, develop their brand’s reach, and acquire new customers to minimise the influence of OTA’s (online travel agents).

The Solution

Brand Visuals

We created the visual branding strategy (all of the photography and video) so that it takes the customer on a journey through the resort’s portfolio and experience.

At the same time, these visuals raise awareness to the fantastic things on offer when traveling through South East Asia.

Social Media Campaign

The Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns focussed on attracting specific types of travellers to their newly-launched blog.

We did this through beautiful lifestyle photography and videos of the resort experience, and highlighting the opening of their new hotel.

We successfully engaged with their guests spanning over 15 years, and warmed up potential new guests with our content strategy. The next stage of the marketing funnel included a lottery giveaway and targeted offers to book rooms for those that entered a competition. This was a highly-profitable strategy, and lead generation tool.

Below are some of the images we created to build a clear brand identity on their social media channels. We used them strategically in our advertising campaigns to grab attention and build trust in the brand.

Results

This ongoing campaign was highly successful. It generated huge engagement and buzz around the brand, grew their email list by thousands of subscribers, and resulted in high revenue returns from the many direct bookings they got as a result of the campaigns. All of this data was tracked and verified by Facebook Pixel and analytics tools.
